You should have received an email from clearent.noreply@clearent.com instructing you to create a username & password. If this was not done within 5 days of receiving the email, you will need to be resent the email.

You will use the same username and password to access Compass and the Clearent Virtual Terminal.
Your MID is a 16-digit number that starts with "6588". It can be found at the top of your Clearent Compass Portal following your business name.
You can contact Clearent Customer Support by calling 866.435.0666 (tel:+1-866-4350666)or emailing customersupport@clearent.com.(mailto:customersupport@clearent.com?subject=I would like some assistance!) Phone support is available 7 days a week from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Central.

You can reset your password by going to https://compass.clearent.net/clearent/portal.aspx (https://compass.clearent.net/clearent/portal.aspx)and clicking on "Forgot Password?".
Don't forget that your Virtual Terminal portal and Compass portal use the same username and password!
Not to worry! This can be easily removed by calling 855.864.1732 (tel:+1-855-8641732)and answering a few questions or by simply:
1. Logging into your Clearent Compass account
2. Clicking the "Data Guardian" link under Merchant Controls
3. Selecting the "Start Here" button
This is a federally imposed survey to ensure that all merchants are accepting payments safely and securely.
Once per year, an $80.00 Regulatory Reporting fee is charged to each merchant. This is not imposed by us but by all processors nationwide.
